From the ferry, go towards Caen centre ville on the D 7 and after about 8 miles you will reach the A 13 - now an upgraded road which goes all the way to Cherbourg ( avoiding St-Lo and Bayeux ). After about 45 km, take the turning to Carentan and Coutances and pick up the D971 towards Périers.

At Périers follow signs for Coutances (D971), past the traffic lights and straight on at the roundabout. Just about a mile out of the town, on a long straight, you will see a Sawmill on your left, and just past this, take the D 52 turning on your left leading to the village of St Aubin du Perron. 

Follow this road under the railway bridge, past the crossroads and the small bridge over the river Taute, up the little hill and finally onto a long straight. About half a mile from the last turn-off, and along this straight you will find the entrance to the Château du Perron on your left, down a long prominent avenue.

Keep on going straight, through the white gate, until you come to the château. All vehicles can be parked when not in use, out of sight in a special area to the left of the château.
